Progress of centrally sponsored schemes reviewed in Anantnag

District Development Commissioner Anantnag, Khalid Jahangir today chaired a meeting of the officers of Agriculture & Allied Sectors, Industries, KVIB, KVIC, NRLM and various  bankers to review the progress achieved under various Government Sponsored schemes.The meeting was informed that under PMEGP, the Industries Department Anantnag  sponsored 343 cases, out of which 44 cases were sanctioned. Similarly, under KVIB, out of 145 sponsored cases, 35 cases have been sanctioned while other cases are being  processed. The Sheep Department has sponsored 1107 cases under KCC, out of which 428 cases stand sanctioned, whiles 128 cases stand disbursed.It was further given out  that under IDSSR, out of 38 sponsored cases, 09 have been sanctioned. The Fisheries Department has sanctioned 18 under KCC out of 58 sponsored cases. While the Animal  Husbandry Department has sponsored 88 cases, out of which 25 cases stand sanctioned and five disbursed besides under KCC Diary 308 cases have been sponsored, out of  which 235 cases stand disbursed.

The meeting was informed that the Agriculture and Horticulture Departments have sponsored 42 and 130 cases respectively, out of which 87 cases under KCC of Horticulture  have been sanctioned and disbursed. Likewise, Under NRLM, out of 55 cases under livestock, poultry, sheep, walnut, & manufacturing units stand sanctioned and disbursed,  besides 33 cases out of 95 cases sponsored under Housing for All stand sanctioned.The DDC directed LDM, J&K Bank, heads of SBI, PNB, EDB, Yes Bank and Canara Bank to  clear the pending sponsored cases within ten day. Stressing upon the concerned line departments, he asked to follow up the cases in the concerned banks. He also directed for  ensuring establishment for income generating unit in all sectors, particularly in sheep farming, diary, fisheries and horticulture so that benefits of the schemes reach to the  targeted beneficiaries.The meeting was attended by JD Planning and other concerned officers.
