DDC reviews bottlenecks impending NH four laning, Railway project

District Development Commissioner Ramban, Nazim Zai Khan convened a meeting with officers, representatives of NHAI and Railways construction agencies working on prestigious four laning project of National Highway and Railways to resolve land acquisition and other confronting issues.Along with others SSP Traffic JS Johar, ADC Ashok Sharma,   SDM Banihal Zaheer Abass, Project Director NHAI, Parshotam Kumar, XEN Northern Railway Rakesh Kumar, GM IRCON, Vinay Kumar,   representatives of the AFCON, IRCON Railway, Navayuga, HCC, GAMMON India, NHAI besides officer from Revenue, PHE, PWD and Forest department were present in the meeting.Discussing all the issues pertaining to the construction of Railways and National Highway, DDC assured the companies engaged on job for removing all bottlenecks on the same. He also passed on spot directions to concerned officers for timely redressal of the same.Responding to issues of land for dumping yards, DDC directed the SDM and ACR to conduct joint visit to proposed sites along with team of concerned departments to resolve the bottlenecks without delay. CHO and DFO were directed to submit the assessment report of fruit and other trees respectively.DDC also reviewed the progress of shifting of HT Towers and lines, proper protection of towers and other utilities including their reinstallation and developing suitable environment for construction work. He directed the concerned department to start work immediately. He also reviewed the implementation of Fastag system at Toll plaza Nashri and directed the authorities of NHAI to ensure hassle free passage for commuters. DDC also fixed the timeline to resolve the issues besides stressed upon the importance of the projects and their timely completion. DDC directed all stakeholders to work in cohesion to complete the project also sort out the pending issues of affected population due to the projects
