Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Varinder Kumar Sharma today said that in order to facilitate the people the Revenue Court Management System (RCMS) would be implemented expeditiously in all the Revenue Courts of the district administration.Chairing a training session for the Revenue officers and their subordinate staff here at the District Administrative Complex, the Deputy Commissioner said that RCMS- Punjab was a web-enabled Revenue Court Management System, developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC), to facilitate management and monitoring of Court Cases pertaining to Revenue Courts. He said that this system has been designed specifically for all Revenue Courts in the state, which include Financial Commissioner, Divisional Commissioner, Director Land Records, Deputy Commissioner, SDM, Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildars courts. Mr. Sharma said that this system captures the details of properties under litigation from the land record database along with Petitioners and Respondents adding that besides generation of summoning notices, the system automatically generates date-wise cause-list of different courts, which was available to citizens as well.

The Deputy Commissioner said that all case related documents including interim orders, final judgments and others could be uploaded through this system. He said that it was a boon for the citizens as they could access details of any case along with case status from the portal for which no credentials or registration was required. Mr. Sharma said that this system provides online information to the public in their revenue related cases and they could view the status of their cases, cause list, detail of property under litigation on a single click.Meanwhile, District Information Officer Mr. AS Kalsi briefed the officers about the basic contours of the entire management system that would be very helpful to the people. He also imparted training to the officers for the smooth execution of the system.On the occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mr. Jasbir Singh, Sub Divisional Magistrates Mr. Amit Kumar, Mr. Rahul Sindhu, Mr. Sanjeev Sharma, Mr. Vineet Kumar and Dr. Jai Inder Singh, District Revenue Officer Mr. Jashanjit Singh and others were also present.
