ADC inaugurates MIDIP at DH Kupwara

Additional Deputy Commissioner, (ADC) Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone today inaugurated Immunization Programme under Mission Indra Dhanush at District Hospital Kupwara.The Programme was inaugurated in presence of Chief Medical Officer, Kupwara, Dr. Kaunsar Amin, Deputy CMO, District Immunization Officer, BMOs, and other health functionaries.Deputy CMO informed that the mission will cover the left-out children   under the age group of 0-2 year and pregnant women which include 926 children and 149 pregnant women. The first Phase will be conducted during 07 working days from 2nd to 11th December. The Aganwari workers, Ashas, ANM will be the conducting authorities of the programme.Later, the ADC inspected various sections of newly constructed 100 bedded DH Kupwara including OPD, IPD, X-Ray and Dialysis Centre and took stock of health care facilities being provided to the patients.
