Himachal receives Proposals for film city : Jai Ram Thakur

Chief Minister said that  due to its splendor and natural beauty  Himachal Pradesh was attracting film-makers and many films were being shot in different parts of the state. He said that Kullu-Manali and Lahaul-Spiti were beautiful places which could become favoured destination for film-makers. He said that the State Government was wooing investors to set up film city in the State for which a few proposals have been received.Chief Minister said this while interacting with media after a special meeting with megastar Amitabh Bachchan, in Manali today.  Chief Minister arrived Manali on Sunday afternoon to listen to the grievance of people and also to meet Amitabh Bachchan. Chief Minister honored Amitabh Bachchan by presenting him Himachali Cap, Shwal and memontos. Actor Ranveer Kapoor was also present with Amitabh Bachchan.

During his interaction with the Chief Minister, Amitabh Bachchan was all praises for  Himachal Pradesh. He said that the State was dotted with  many beautiful destinations and the people were also peace loving.Jai Ram Thakur said that Amitabh lives in the hearts of crores of people and is the most popular artist of India.  He welcomed Amitabh Bachchan in the State. Earlier, the Chief Minister was felicitated by the office bearers of  BJP Mandal Manali at Circuit House.  Chief Minister also listened to  the grievances of the people on this occasion.Member Parliament Ram Swaroop Sharma, MLA Kishori Lal and Surender Shourie, Wife of Chief Minister  Dr. Sadhana Thakur, Vice President HPMC Ram Singh, President State BJP Mahila Morcha Dhaneshwari Thakur & President Municipal  Council Nina Thakur were also present among others.
