Multiple activities with emphasis on awareness under Swacch Bharat Mission and exhaustive meetings with PRs and locals today marked day 4 of second phase of 'Back to Village' program in various Panchayats of the district.A theme based cultural program on Swacch Bharat Mission (SBM) was organised at Panchayat Lower Loran A.Visiting Officer, Additional Secretary Technical Education Department and Deputy Commissioner Poonch educated the people about the message of Swacch Bharat mission with an earnest appeal to all for keeping their surroundings clean and hygienic. People of Panchayat lower Loran A put forth several issues which inter alia included blacktopping of roads, improved water and power supply in Arai Haveli Panchayat.Meanwhile, DC took part in B2V2 program where I/C Range Officer Mohammad Rafi, Visiting officer, informed him about the details of his visits to schools, PMAY houses and Panchayati Raj institutions (PRIs). He also elaborated the DC about his meetings with Surpanch, panchs and people of the assigned panchayat.The DC, while taking stock of water supply issues at Arai, informed the public that this grave issue will soon be solved through a proper water distribution plan under "Har Ghar Nal" scheme.In Panchayat Arai Peeran, the issue of construction of road from Mohalla Pathana to DSF Chowki was brought in the notice of the Visiting officer in presence of DC.
