Visits to local government institutions and assets, exhaustive public interactions besides feedback on the outcome of B2V-1 today marked the beginning of second phase of Back to Village programme here across the district. The Visiting Officers, on day 1, inspected the working of local schools, health institutions, AWCs, Banks and government assets besides holding interactions with the representatives of PRIs, frontline workers of different departments and prominent citizens to discuss and deliberate upon the core issues of 68 Panchayats of block Banihal, Khari, Ukhral and Ramsoo in two Block of the district. District Development Commissioner,  Nazim Zai Khan, inaugurated “Back to Village” phase-II programme at Panchyat Zinhaal of block Banihal besides visiting various panchyats of different blocks of the district.DDC had feedback regarding the implementation of 1st   phase of “Back to Village” programme.The Visiting officers educated the people about GPDP booklet and 14FC Plan besides checking purchase record registers for MDM and ICDS during their visits to the Anganwari Centers.The first day of this unique programme witnessed an overwhelming participation of locals who hoped that all languishing and halted projects in the hilly regions shall be restarted with intervention of the government through this programme.DDC was accompanied by SSP, Ramban, Anita Sharma, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Ramban, Zameer Rishu and other officer and officials of different departments.
