State Child Rights Protection Commission reviews arrangements for upcoming NCPCR Camp in Moga

NCPCR to redress grievances of children during camp on Tuesday

The Punjab State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (PSCPCR) on Friday, reviewed the arrangements for the upcoming National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) camp going to be held in Moga on Tuesday. The camp is being organised to redress the grievances of the children of 0 to 18 years of age at Meeting Hall of Deputy Commissioner at District Administrative Complex (DAC) Moga on November 26 from 9 am onwards.Chairman PSCPCR Rajinder Singh accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Moga Sandeep Hans while presiding over the meeting directed the officials to make the camp successful by ensuring maximum participation of the children at the camp. Secretary PSCPCR Amandeep Kaur and Deputy Director Rajwinder Singh Gill were also present in the meeting.Chairman Rajinder Singh also directed Block Development and Panchayat Officers (BDPOs), Child Welfare Committee (CWC) and District Child Protection Officer (DCPO) to spread maximum awareness about the camp through advertisements including pamphlets, Chaspa notices and hoardings that people and children could take benefit of the camp. 

He also mandated all the concerned officials to be present during the camp.Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Hans informed that children or the guardians on the behalf of children having any issues can pre-register their complaints at the District Child Protection Office (DCPO) that will be taken up during the camp. He said that for any kind of query regarding camp one can also contact at 01636-234447. He said that apart issues like child labour, vagrancy, truancy, begging, orphan and destitute, children can take up any kind of matter before the panel and the grievance will be resolved on the spot.During the meeting, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC General) Anita Darshi, Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM)-cum-Secretary District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Bagicha Singh, Superintendent of Police (SP Headquarter) Rattan Singh Brar, Chairperson CWC Dr Varinder Kaur, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Moga Narinder Singh Dhaliwal, District Child Protection Officer (DCPO) Paramjit Kaur among other officials were present.
