There is huge enthusiasm amongst the youth regarding the ongoing 550th Parkash Purab mega celebrations of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji at the historical town of Sultanpur Lodhi. The logo of 550th Parkash Purab celebrations, installed outside the main pandal, has become a hit amongst the youth as “selfie point”.A large number of youth can be seen clicking selfies at this point along with their families and friends. While clicking selfie along with his college friends, Navpreet Singh, a resident of village Bohar, district Shri Amritsar Sahib, said that he would now post this selfie on his social media accounts such as Whatsapp, Facebook and Instagram. And he would also share it with his family members and friends so that they are also encouraged to become part of these mega celebrations.Arshdeep Singh of Khilchian clicked a selfie along with his mother and said that he feel blessed to have become part of these celebrations along with his mother. He stated that he would share this selfie with his family and friends.There has been huge rush of devotees near the selfie point. Kehar Singh of Delhi, who clicked his selfie along with his wife and children, said that he has specially come from Delhi to participate in the 550th Parkash Purab celebrations of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.Kulbir Kaur from Shri Amritsar Sahib is attending the mega celebrations along with her relatives. She said that she has captured the essence of celebrations through this selfie.Huge rush of devotees, especially youth, can also be seen near the fast food langar stall distributing burger, pizza and noodles.
