550th Parkash Purb : Digital Museum exhibiting Guru Nanak’s Life begins in Moga

A one-of-its-kind Ultra Modern Digital Museum exhibiting the life of the First Sikh Guru Nanak Dev opened for the public at an open ground near ISF College at Ghal Kalan village here on Saturday.The museum, which was part of celebrations planned by the state government for commemorating the 550th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev will remain open for the public from 6.30am to 6pm till Monday, while two shows 7 pm to 7.45 pm and 8.30 pm to 9.15 pm— each of Light and Sound shows would be organised on October 20 and 21.On the first day, as many as 1044 from different age groups and walks of life followed by a large number of students from different schools and colleges visited the museum and had a rare experience through the hi-end technological museum aimed at disseminating the teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.Prominent among Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC General) Anita Darshi, ADC Development Subash Chandar, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Moga Narinder Singh Dhaliwal, District Education Officer (DEO Secondary) Jaspal Singh Aulakh, DEO Primary Nek Singh also bathed in Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji's divine glow and spiritual splendour.ADC Anita Darshi termed the Museum as a humble effort by the state government to spread the message to people for embracing the ideology of love, compassion, equality, peace and brotherhood propounded by Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji in its true spirit.While informing that entry for these shows is completely free of cost, She appealed all the residents to must visit the museum along with their families. She also urged residents to watch 45-minute light and sound show with colourful visual presentations, ultra-modern laser techniques and unique acoustics on Sunday and Monday evenings.Meanwhile, the museum based on multi-media technologies has eight galleries showcasing the life and journey of revered Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The experience of one God, omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent and beyond all form and name has been brought Alive in the Digital Museum. The mesmerising never seen before Museum has brought together various technologies like Large Format Display (LFD) screens, Radio Frequency Identified Devices (RFID) headphones, Immersive Sublimotion and a Virtual Reality (VR) experience.
