District Development Commissioner (DDC), Ramban, Nazim Zai Khan today chaired the preliminary meeting of district and sectoral officers of district level District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA).Among others present were Additional District Development Commissioner, Ramban, Nawab Din, ADC, Dr. Basharat Hussain, ACR, Harbans Lal, ACD, CEO, CMO besides other district and sectoral officers of various departments.The DDC directed the officers to keep in view the recommendations of Sugamya Barat Abhiyan while formulating the development plans.The DDC said the Government of India has initiated several programmes and schemes for all-round development of the district particularly for women, children, specially- abled, and other weaker sections of society besides far-flung areas.He stressed upon the officers to work with sincerity and dedication to ensure proper implementation of social and other welfare schemes besides time bound completion of developmental projects. He directed the officers to conduct frequent tours of remote and hilly areas to monitor the development works besides sensitizing the masses about schemes pertaining to their departments so that best results could be ensured on the ground with no compromise on the quality of works executed.Detailed deliberation was also held on various schemes being implemented in different sectors of the district like Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme , Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gramin Kaushalya, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, Deen Dayal Antodaya Yojana –Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, National Social Assistance Programme, Pradhan Mantri Gram Awaas Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM), Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin, National Rural Drinking Water Programme, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sanchaye Yojana, Digital India Land Record Modernisation Programme, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana, Ujjwal DISCOM Assurance Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, National Health Mission, Serva Shiksha Abhiyan, Integrated Child Development Scheme, Mid Day Meal scheme, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Digital India public Internet Access Programme providing Common Service Centre in each Gram Panchayat.
