District Development Commissioner (DDC) Anantnag, Khalid Jahangir who is also Chairman District Level Review Cum Consultative Committee (DLRC) Anantnag today reviewed the performance of banks and line departments for the quarter ended June-2019 under District Credit Action Plan 2019-20 at a meeting held, here at Dak Bungalow Khanabal.During the meeting, progress achieved in key sectors like Agriculture and Allied sectors, Micro and Small Enterprises, Priority & non-priority sectors were reviewed.The meeting was informed that the total deposits in the district have reached to Rs 503579 lacs, while the total advances under various schemes have touched to Rs 345993 lakh by end of June 2019.The Lead District Manager (LDM), Anantnag informed the meeting that against a credit target of Rs 2315.69 crore an advancement of Rs 471.24 crore have been made by various banks. This include Rs.153.92 crore under Agriculture sector against a credit target of Rs.1029.00 crore, Rs. 180.8 crore against a target of Rs.506.86 crore under non-priority, while against credit a target of Rs.650.32 crore, Rs.106.42 crore under micro & small enterprises including a loan of Rs. 30.82 crore stand disbursed under Education, Housing, Export others, social infrastructure and renewal energy.Similarly, under KCC scheme against a target of 80,525 Form Operating Families (FOF) 70827 FOF have been provided loans of Rs. 10687.87 crore till the end of June 2019.The Director Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (RSETI) informed the meeting that 04 training programmes were conducted by RSETI, Bijbehara in which 77 candidates were imparted skill development training, out of which 62 candidates stand settled by the end of June 2019. 

“With respect to linking of Aadhaar numbers with the banking accounts for availing benefits under different schemes, all the bankers have been directed to establish Aadhaar linkage centres under “Back to Village” Programme.The DDC instructed all the officers and bankers to work in synergy so that tangible improvements are witnessed at the ground level. He also called for also stressed for conducting FLCCs in coordination with line departments.The DDC also stressed the bankers to focus on sanctioning of loan cases under the high-density plantation, under Horticulture Sector and also to involve unemployed youth under dairy, sheep farming, fish farming for which youth can avail the subsidy benefits under various welfare schemes under implementation in the district. He also stressed for establishment of Agri-processing units, milk bulk plants in agriculture and allied sectors particularly in animal, sheep husbandry and fisheries for which district administration would provide every possible support.The DDC also directed the bankers for identifying uncovered villages so that new branches can be established there. He also asked them to submitting the list of uncovered areas to ensure 100% financial inclusion. The DDC directed the poor performance of other banks including Yes Bank, ICICI, HDFC Bank, SBI, Canara Bank, Axis Bank & Elaqui Dehati Banks to improve their performance in every sector.The meeting was also attended by ADDC Anantnag, JD Planning, ADGM NABARD, District officers from Line Departments including Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Sheep, KVIB, Industries, DUDA, NURLM, JKEDI, Handicrafts, Handlooms and other officers, Director RSETI, Cluster Heads of J&K Bank, Anantnag, Representatives of SBI, PNB, YES Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Canara Bank, EDBI & ACCB.
