Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur received holy ‘Palki Sahib’ on the occasion of state level function of 550th years of Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji at here the Ridge, today amid chanting of ‘Shabd Kirtan’ organized by Shri Gurudwara Singh Sabha Prabanthak Committee, Shimla.Jai Ram Thakur carried the holy ‘Palki Sahib’ and followed the Panch Pyare during the procession with devotees showering flower petals on the path.The Chief Minister was presented a ‘Siropa’ by the President of Shri Gurudwara Singh Sabha Prabanthak Committee Shimla Jasvinder Singh.Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj, Chairman, HIMFED Ganesh Dutt, Mayor Kusum Sadret, Deputy Mayor Rakesh Sharma and office bearers of Shri Gurudwara Singh Sabha Prabanthak Committee Shimla were present on the occasion.
