District Development Commissioner Rohit Kahajuria, today chaired a meeting of the line departments to discuss modalities for enthusiastic participation in Mission Antyodya Survey and Fit India movement.The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Arvind Kotwal, District Programme Officer (ICDS) Jyoti Rani Salathia, Assistant Commissioner (Development) Sidharath Dhiman, Sub-Divisonal Magistrate Vijaypur CP Kotwal, Cheif Planning Officer Sukhleen Kour, besides other district officers were present.District Development Commissioner, Samba was appraised regarding the Fit India movement guidelines and the to do list. He laid emphasis upon all officers for taking part in the Fit India movement 7:30Hrs on October 2 from Samba Govt. High School (Boys) to Samba chowk.The Fit India movement shall be observed across the district including at Panchayats, villages town area & Schools.Later, the District Development Commissioner also gave brief on of the Mission Antyoda Survey-2019 regarding people’s plan campaign. He elucidated the modus operandi to be adopted for Mission Antyoda Survey-2019 from Oct 2 to Dec 31, 2019.He informed that facilitator and Frontline workers are to be appointed for each Panchayat. He also enjoined upon all Facilitator and Frontline worker to attend the Gram Sabha on Oct 2 to generate awareness about Gram Panchayat development plan-2020-21. It was informed that Mission Antyoda survey measures the Gram Panchayat performance and well being of Rural Households by assessing the performance of Gram Panchayat on certain key parameters pertaining to development sectors such as Agriculture, Land improvement and minor investigation Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Rural Housing, Drinking Water, Roads, Rural Community anests, Fuel and Fodder, Libraries Cultural activities, Financial and Communication Infrastructure, Public Distribution system, Education Vocational Education,Markets and Fairs, Welfare of weaker section, Health and Sanitation, Women and Child Development besides officers.
