Distict Legal Services Authority Hands Over Pension Letter To Specially Abled Child

Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar Mrs. Shikha Goel has provided great relief to a 14 years child resident of Village Haripur Hinduan, Tehsil Derabassi, who is differently abled since birth. Ms. Goel providing him with a pension letter and identity card from the Government of Punjab, District Social Security Office, S.A.S. Nagar which was handed over to him at his village.On this occasion Mrs. Goel said that the child has not able to take any help from any government institution because he has not disability certificate. Thereafter, the matter came into knowledge of Secretary, District Legal Services Authority through Mr. Gulzar Singh, Para Legal Volunteer of District Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar. After that efforts were made and the child was provided all kinds of benefits to which he is entitled to under NALSA Scheme (Legal Services to Mentally Ill and Disabled Persons) Scheme, 2015 and the other government schemes.
