DC joins kids in the classroom to tell them importance of teachers in life

Today, Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur, Chander Gaind once again proved himself as ‘Public DC’ at the Teachers’ Day celebrations by sitting in one of the class with the students, having interaction with the teachers and bowing and touching the feet of 90 years old retired teacher Amar Nath Gupta,  on the Teachers’ Day celebrations at Shanti Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School.Chander Gaind, Deputy Commissioner said, I feel pleasure to be part of Teachers’ Day function at Shanti Vidya Mandir School  which has all the qualities in its name required in life - Peace, Education and Mandir.  He asked the students to respect the teachers and at the same time advised the teachers to educate the students to channelize their energy in the right perspective. He said, the real wealth in life is education followed by healthIn the daily assembly, he asked the teachers to go in for motivational lectures on moral values of life and put a special focus on the consequences of use of drugs while interacting with the students.On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner honoured the Amar Nath Gupta, 90-year-old retired government teachers by presenting a Souvenir as a token of love and memory.  The services of school Headmistress Rajni Madahar and teachers were also recognized by presenting them a memento.The management of Shanti Vidya Mandir also presented a cheque of Rs.11,000 to the Deputy Commissioner as a contribution for the Flood Relief Funds.He said the teacher is such a profession which produces every class and this profession is also a challenging  job and it is the duty of every teacher to dedicate to their line of work.
