Fun-filled Freshers’ Party, Jashan 2019 was held today at the campus of Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran to welcome the new batch. The students showcased their talent in various artforms such as, Classical dance, group singing, Bhangra, Natti, Theme Based Act and much more. Fashion show, which was the highlight of the event crowned the title of Mr. and Ms. Fresher to Jaideep Singh from business studies and Sakshi, Engineering student respectively. Other titles were grabbed by Varun, Hotel Management for Mr Physique, Harmeet Kaur for Ms Crowning Glory and Nitesh and Jasmine for best dressed male and female. Winners were selected on basis of their confidence, presentation and intellectual skills. Actors from Punjabi Industry, Sargun Mehta and Gurnam Bhullar made the event even more thrilling with their presence. The event was judged by young faces from the Punjabi industry.Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chairman CGC Landran addressed the current lot of students and encouraged them to aim high, stay focused and do well in their respective courses for a successful career and future.
