After intervention of Cabinet Minister Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa, Officers and Employees of Rural Development and Panchayat Department today called off the strike.Giving details, an official spokesman of department said that all grievances between the officials of department and Congress Committee Chairperson of the district Mansa, Mrs. Manju Bansal have been resolved in a meeting held at the residence of Rural Development Minister. Incident happened in the office of Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) was unfortunate which should not have happened.Among others, officers of the Rural Development Department, representatives of the employees' unions and Chief Minister's Political Secretary Mr. Sandeep Sandhu were also present in the meeting.
