Omar calls on Governor,Discusses Security Situation In Kashmir

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah called on Governor NN Vohra on Saturday and discussed security situation of Kashmir Valley and release of annual plan funds by the central government.An official spokesman said Omar called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan here this afternoon. “In their over hour long meeting, the Chief Minister briefed the Governor about the management of public order issues in the Valley, consequent to recent incidents,” he said.The Governor and the Chief Minister also discussed several other “important matters”, including the release of Annual Plan funds by the central government, the spokesman added.
