The high level delegation of the State Government led by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur met Vishavraj Jadeja, a known face in ice skating and director of Ice World at Amsardram in Netherlands yesterday evening  and discussed the possibility of development of Shimla Ice Skating Rink. The project would be developed on Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode through transparent bidding process.The development of all weather ice ring at Shimla would  make it capable to host national and international tournaments in ice skating and boost tourism to large extent.Later, they met representatives of TAKARA Bio Inc and discussed in investment opportunities in biotech sector in Himachal Pradesh. TAKARA bio inc showed keen interest in investments in the State. Such facilities would ensure long life and quality control of products for food processing.They also met members of Omnivent to discuss the storage solutions for potatoes and other fruits for supply to large companies for processing facilities. Omnivent is already present in Himachal Pradesh and wants to expand the technologies advanced storage facilities.
