Ayurvedic medicine is the gift of spiritualist culture: Governor

 Governor Acharya Devvrat said that Ayurvedic medicine is the gift of spiritualist culture, which requires more research today so that its benefits can be widely available.The Governor was speaking while presiding over the 41st National Conference on "Musculoskeletal disorder" organised by Haryana Chapter of All India Ayurveda Special (Post Graduate) Organization at Kurukshetra's Multi-Art Centre here today. About 1000 participants took part in this conference and postgraduate researchers from various institutions presented 185 research papers.He said that Indian sages created the medical system in terms of the health of human beings thousands of years ago, which was a part of the lifestyle. The basic purpose of life is to achieve salvation by following Dharam (religion), Arth (wealth) and Kaam (work), for which a healthy body is the first foundation. Unhealthy person is not able to contribute to society even while being intelligent. A healthy body can guide the world with positive thinking. All India Ayurveda Special (Postgraduate) organization is playing an important role in developing this medical practice.

Acharya Devvrat said that Ayurveda was started on the soil of India and it was the world's oldest medical practice. But like Allopathy, there was no extensive research on Ayurveda. Because of this, the benefits that should be made available to the entire humanity were not met. He emphasized the need for vast research by young physicians. However, the research of the sages and monks who gave this medicine was based on spiritualism. The benefits of these medicines are still effective in modern world.The Governor said that this life-giving medical system is made up of nature which is based on five elements without any side effects. He emphasized the expansion of Ayurvedic medicine.Earlier, the Governor also honoured doctors, who have given great contribution in the field of Ayurvedic medicine. He also released the organization's souvenir on the occasion.Program Director Dr. Balbir Singh Sandhu and Organizing Secretary Dr. Raja Singhla welcomed the Governor.
