Chandigarh, Jhansi Sharma, National Executive Committee Member of  Nationalist Mahila Congress along with doznes of women workers formally joined Bharatiya Janta Party at a function held today at party office- Kamalam, Sector 33, Chandigarh.Each one were warmly welcomed by unit President Sanjay Tandon, Ex Mayor and councillor Arun Sood, District President and Councillor Ravi Kant Sharma, Office Secretary Gajendra Sharma and appraised with the policies of Prime Minister led governance. Jhansi was in opinion that Modi's policy towards women folk has provided enough strength to make the mark in society. Citing the examples of Beti Bachao, Beti Padao movement and various schemes likes Sukanya Samridhi Yojna, Jivan Jyoti Beema Yojna, Ujwala Yojna and others, Jhansi said such schemes has empowered the Indian women and provided new dimension to society.
