Jasia Akhtar A women Cricketer of J&K has been selected for Women’s T20 Challenge team and is playing for Punjab women,s team.Jasia Akhtar hails from south Kashmir's Shopian district has been selected for women's T20 Challenge which will start from 6 may to 11th may 2019.She received a call from BCCI ( Bharti Cricket control of India )on 24th evening and she has been told to join the team on 2nd May.Jasia, will be the part of first Women’s T20 Challenge team from Jammu and Kashmir & is big Achievement for this young girl.Women's T20 Challenge A three-team tournament will take place during the IPL 2019 playoffs.The T20 Challenge starts from 6 may 2019 and The matches will be played on 6, 8 and 9 while as the final match of the tournament will be played on 11th May.The final match of women's T20 Challenge will be played at Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur.All the match are expected to be telecast on Star Sports network.
