‘Better chance of peace talks if BJP wins’: Imran Khan

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan in a message to Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged for the settlement of the Kashmir issue.IN an interview with BBC Imran Khan said “Surely the number one task of the two governments [Pakistan, India] should be how are we going to reduce poverty”.Imran Khan, the way to reduce poverty was by settling differences between the two countries through dialogue. “There is only one difference which is Kashmir. It has to be settled.”Imran Khan stressed the issue in Kashmir could not keep boiling over like it was. “Anything happening in Kashmir through a reaction to the oppression which is taking place in Kashmir it would be palmed off on Pakistan. We would be blamed and tensions would rise, as they have risen in the past.”The prime minister emphasised that the benefits of settling the issue of Kashmir would be tremendous for the subcontinent. ‘Better chance of peace talks if BJP wins’ . Prime Minister said there would be a better chance of peace talks with India  if BJP won the general election. (PTK)
