SAD-BJP Candidate from Amritsar Arun Jaitley today gave a call to people of Amritsar Lok Sabha constituency to give a lifetime exemplary punishment to Congress Party that has bled the economy of country during last ten years and decimate Congress from political scene of country.Addressing a massive rally here today, Mr. Jaitley blamed Congress Party for de-grading the post of Prime Minister to a lowest level by giving total command to 10 Janpath. He said that Congress led UPA would be known as ‘most corrupt government’ of the century that surpassed all previous limits of dishonesty during its decade long misrule. He said that starting from 64 crore Bofors Scam during Rajiv Gandhi era, the Congress led UPA government made the country hang its head in shame with record 1.86 lakh crore Coal Scam, Rs. 1.76 lakh crore 2G scam and series of listed and unlisted scams.
He said that in Punjab Congress has not won a single election right from Panchayats to Vidhan Sabha during last 7 years and now the ruminants of Punjab Congress Party would be blown away with massive Modi wave blowing all over the country. He appealed to the people of Punjab to bring pro-people, pro-Punjab NDA government at Center with a thumping majority and make their humble contribution by electing SAD-BJP candidates. He assured that with Modi Government at center Punjab would not have to beg for any economic package. He appealed to people of Amritsar to give him strength so that he could raise their issues at the national level. Giving a befitting reply to the repeated threats of Captain Amarinder Singh, Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia said that Captain has no guts to even touch him.
Taking on Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh for ignoring the interests of Punjab during his 10 year misrule, Majithia said that his name would be written with black letters in the history of Punjab for not spending a single penny on the development of Amritsar. He blamed Congress Party for skyrocketing prices of essential commodities and crushing people with regular price hike of petrol, diesel and LPG. He said that pro-people, pro-poor SAD-BJP Government started Atta-Daal scheme to give a relief to poor people of Punjab from this price rise. He accused Maharaja (captain) for ignoring interests of Punjab and said that he never knocked at the door of UPA Chairperson Mrs. Sonia Gandhi to bring some Economic or Agriculture Package for Punjab. He said that just like people of Malwa, the determined electorates of Majha have also vowed to give a befitting defeat to Captain Amarinder Singh in this Lok Sabha elections.
Majithia appealed to people of Punjab to ensure victory of Arun Jaitley with a record margin as he was sincere to the cause of Punjabis whereas Captain as a migratory bird would fly away to his nest hills in Himachal Pradesh.
