High Court Judge inaugurates Creche at Moga District Court

With an aim to providing a good environment to the children coming to the court with their parents, appearing for different cases, Honourable Justice Jaishree Thakur, a judge at High Court of Punjab and Haryana on Friday, inaugurated a Creche room at Moga District and Sessions Court here.Justice Jaishree Thakur accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Hans and District and Sessions Judge Munish Singhal, while inaugurating the Creche at the premises of the Moga Court said that this will provide a separate environment to the children, who have to come to the family courts with their parents while appearing for cases.She has also inaugurated Free Legal Aid and Cancer-Awareness and Early Detection Camps, initiated by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) in association with World Cancer Care Charitable Society. District and Sessions Judge Munish Singhal giving more information about the Creche said that the air-conditioned room, which is equipped with LCD television has all the other facilities including painting books, bicycles and toys.Vineet Kumar Narang, Chief Judicial Magistrate cum secretary DLSA said that under the Free Legal Aid and Cancer-Awareness and Early Detection Camps, medical tests to detect mouth, breast or other cancer diseases will be conducted at free of cost with latest machines.Meanwhile, during the event Davinderpal Rimpi, member of Lions Club and Dr Davinder Singh Sandhu were present.
