To raise the level of education in government schools and provide students the latest methods of education,the Deputy Commissioner Mansa Miss Apneet Riyait distributed projectors to twenty government schools in the district. The projectors will enable teachers to teach with latest audio visual aids and make learning a fun for the students.Deputy Commissioner Miss Apneet Riyait added that last year district Mansa had proved its mettle by scoring meritorious positions in classes 10th and 12th. Now with the projectors added to learning bags of students, district will attain higher achievements. The district administration and Bharat Petroleum have signed a Memorandum of Understanding wherein the company has promised to help government schools and anganwari centers. Under the project, Bharat Petroleum has provided these 20 projectors to the schools. She directed the heads of schools to make complete use of this facility.Giving further information District Coordinator MNREGA Mr Mandeep Singh Sidhu stated that the government schools at Akbarpur Khudal,  Bahadarpur, Borawal, Burjhari, Dharampura, Gurne Kalan, Jitgarh, Jhanda Kalan, Bakshiwala, Kalipur, Khokhar Kalan, Kishangarh, Makha, Koriwada, Mehar Singh Wala, Saharna, Rangrial, Ubha Burj Dhilwan, Jhanduke and Jherianwali have been provided with projectors worth Rs 5.48 lacs. More than 4317 students of these 20 schools will draw benefit from the donated projectors. He added that besides this the Bharat Petroleum have contributed towards construction of toilets and soakpits under MNREGA as a part of Corporate Social Responsibility.ADC (D) Mr Gurmeet Singh Sidhu, DDPO Mr Dinesh Vashisht, DEO (primary) Mrs Rajinder Kaur, deputy DEO (secondary)Mr Jagroop Singh Bharti,  state coordinator smart school Mr Amarjit SIngh Chahal and district coordinator smart school Mr Jagjit SIngh Walia were also present.
