Aids For Differently Abled People Distributed In Different Parts Of District

Ludhiana MP Ravneet Singh Bittu today stated that he is fully committed for the welfare of differently abled persons and that is why several aids such as tricycles, wheel chairs, walking sticks, smart canes, hearing aids etc are being provided to the needy completely free of cost. He informed that camps for this purpose are being organised in all 9 Vidhan Sabha constituencies falling under the Ludhiana Lok Sabha constituency, wherein thousands of differently abled persons would be benefitted.Mr Bittu informed that since March 2, three such camps have already been organised, while camps for covering the remaining six Vidhan Sabha constituencies would be organised in the coming few days.He informed that at Jagraon on March 2, aids amounting to around Rs 15 lakh were distributed to the differently abled persons. These include 101 Tricycles, 55 Wheel chairs, 03 Rolattor, 42 cruters, 15 walking sticks, 27 Smart phones, 33 Smart Canes, 100 Hearing aids, 600 Cell for hearing aids etc. 

On March 3 at Dakha, 92 Tricycles, 48 Wheel chairs, 02 Rolattor, 24 Cruter, 12 Walking stick, 02 Smart phone, 03 Smart Cane, 04 MR Kits etc amounting to Rs 12,08,498 were distributed.During a camp held in Ludhiana South constituency today, 87 Tricycle, 23 MR Kit, 42 Wheel chair, 03 Rolattor, 08 Walking stick, 02 Smart Cane, 01 DJ player, 50 Hearing aids, 300 Batteries etc amounting to Rs 13,74,638 were distributed.He informed that tomorrow, i.e. March 5, another such camp would be organised at the GLADA Community Centre, Sector 32 in Ludhiana (East) constituency, on March 6 at the Social Welfare Office near Dugri Canal bridge for Atam Nagar and Gill constituencies, on March 7 at King Palace in Sundar Nagar for Ludhiana (West) and Ludhiana (Central) constituencies.Mr Bittu informed that he has been organising such camps ever since he has been elected MP from Ludhiana. He said that till date, thousands of residents have been benefitted from these camps.
