Stern Action Against The Officials Involved In Illegal Phone Tapping--Virbhadra

Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh said that more information is being collected regarding Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association’s Hotel ‘The Pavilion’ in Dharamshala in Kangra district and, if necessary, action would be taken only after receiving the final report. He was interacting with the media persons informally here today.

Virbhadra Singh said that Government would take stern action against the officials who would be found involved in illegal phone tapping.He said that a decision was taken to provide red beacon on the vehicle of Prime Minister of Tibetan Government-in-exile. He said that Prime Minister of Tibetan Government-in-exile is a democratic elected leader and His Holiness Dalai Lama is the respected and distinguished Guest and providing security and respect to them is our responsibility, he added.Chief Minister said that he would be proceeding on Kangra winter sojourn tomorrow and efforts would be made to provide immediate relief to the people of the district by listening to their grievances and providing solutions at their door steps. He said that initially he was intending for longer winter sojourn but as the government was formed recently he has to attend various engagements at Shimla due to which this sojourn was cut short. He said that he will be visiting Una, Hamirpur and adjoining districts separately so as to provide people an opportunity of solving their problems nearer to their homes.
