MAT 2019: Exam to be Held on February 17, Here are Few Important Details

As per the latest notification, the first session of MAT 2019 exam will be held in February 2019. The application registration for MAT 2019 began on December 16, 2018. The candidates can fill the application form by visiting the official website of AIMA. Check out below to get a sneak peek of all the important details regarding MAT 2019.

About MAT

MAT abbreviation of Management Aptitude Test is a national level examination conducted by the AIMA. The examination from 2019 will be conducted in four sessions including February, May, September, and December. Candidates are rendered the opportunity to avail for the exam in either of the session based on their convenience.The examination is conducted in two modes namely Paper and Pen Mode (Offline) and Computer Based Mode (Online). Aspirants can appear for either of the mode or both as per their choice. The scores obtained in the examination deems to be an important criterion for seeking admission to top B Schools in India. Additionally, over 200 top B schools accept the marks for admission.

MAT 2019 Registration

The registration process for the examination began on December 16, 2018. It will remain open till February 08, 2019 for those who want to attempt exam through Paper Based Mode and till February 12, 2019, for Computer Based Test. The registration window will remain open for a period of 45 to 60 days from the date of registration. Aspiring students can apply for the exam by visiting the official website of AIMA. The score obtained in the examination is valid for 12 months, after which the candidate will be required to reattempt the entrance test.The total score of the examination will be 160 marks. Getting an average of 60+ marks is considered good scores for availing admission. The first session of MAT examination is all set to be held on February 2019. The registration window for the first session will remain open from December 16, 2018, to February 12, 2019.The examination will have negative marking for answers. However, leaving the answer un-attempted will not deduct marks.

MAT Admit Cards 2019

The AIMA will be releasing the MAT Admit Card after the completion of the registration process. All applicants who have registered themselves before the last date of registration and have paid the fees can download the MAT 2019 admit by visiting the official website of AIMA. For this, they will have to log in with their credentials including application number, date of birth and email ID.However, it must be noted that the Admit Card for PBT and CBT mode won't be released on the same day. It will be released on two different dates.

Important Points to Remember

The MAT exam will be held in online and offline mode. Candidates can opt for either mode or both.

The Admit Card for Paper Mode Test and Computer Based Mode will be released on two separate dates. Hence candidates must be vigilant about the dates.

The Admit Card for the exam won't be sent via email or post. It has to be downloaded from the official website of AIMA online.

Candidates must go through the entire information contained in the card which includes the Candidate Name, Roll Number, Exam Date and Time, and Venue.

All candidates must carry the Admit Card mandatorily to the exam center with their latest passport size photograph pasted and signature attested on it.

No other documents will be allowed to carry into the examination hall.

The examination will be conducted for a total score of 160 marks.

It will be conducted in 4 sessions.

MAT 2019 Result

The MAT 2019 Result can be checked online at the official AIMA MAT website. For checking the result, candidates will have to log in with their credentials. The result will comprise of scores obtained in each section, total percentile and section wise percentage. However, no official date has been announced yet for the release and will be notified on the official website of AIMA soon.
