The newly inaugurated the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprise was proving to be a boon for the unemployed youth of the region by opening new vistas of employment for them.The bureau inaugurated in the district to give push to the ‘Ghar-Ghar Rozgar’ campaign of the state government was acting as a single platform for the job seekers and job givers. This could be well judged from the fact that in the last one year from January 2018 to December 2018 22 job fairs were held in the district under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Mansa Ms. Apneet Riyat, during which 1130 aspirants were provided jobs. Besides this 23 youth were provided help for becoming self reliant by opening their own businesses.Divulging more details, the Additional Deputy Commissioner Mansa Mr. Rajesh Tripathi said that the youth coming to the Bureau were updated about the job opportunities through lectures and other mediums of information. He said that dedicated staff has been appointed in the bureau for giving information to the jobless youth and apprising them about the new vistas of employment. Mr. Tripathi said that the bureau was acting as a bridge between job seekers and job providers besides helping the youths to initiate their own businesses through ensuring them easy loans.The Additional Deputy Commissioner said that the staff at this bureau reveals the daily visitors or youths about various schemes of Punjab government and best opportunities in the leading industrial houses of the region. He called upon the unemployed youth of the region to register them with the ‘Ghar-Ghar Rozgar Portal’ for availing the maximum benefit of the job fairs organized by the state government.  Mr. Tripathi said that  in order to offer job opportunities to unemployed youth mega job fairs were being organized at Bharat Group of colleges Sardulgarh on February 15 and at Krishna College of Higher Education Budhlada on February 21 adding that youth must take maximum benefit from these job fairs.
