CEC takes stock of developmental works of Poyen constituency

Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmed Khan took stock of the developmental works under Poyen constituency in a meeting of the concerned officers at Council Secretariat here today.Councillor Poyen Muhammad Amin, Executive Engineers of R&B and I&FC, officers of the Health, Education, MC and FCS&CA besides other concerned officers were present in the meeting.During the course of the meeting, Councillor Poyen raised a number of significant developmental issues, grievances and demands pertaining to the beautification of Poyen area, development of necessary infrastructure in PHE, Health, Education, Irrigation and other related issues etc.The CEC gave a patient hearing to all issues raised by the Councillor and assured the resolution of all genuine concerns in a phased manner.In the case of certain demands, the CEC instructed the officers to take immediate necessary steps for resolution.The CEC said that the Hill Council is committed for equitable development of all the Council constituencies in the district and all out efforts are on to give fillip to developmental activities encompassing all sectors besides providing people an accountable and transparent governance system.Feroz Khan said that the Council is aware of the problems of the people of the Poyen area and concerted efforts shall be made to improve the infrastructural facilities for providing better amenities to people.
