DC Kargil visits District Hospital, takes stock of patient care facilities

To take stock of healthcare facilities provided to patients, Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Vikas Kundal today visited District Hospital Kargil.The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by the Chief Medical Officer Kargil Dr Ibrahim Khan, Medical Superintendent Kargil Dr Sikander Ali Khan, Executive Engineers of R&B and PDD besides other concerned officers.During the visit, the DC inspected various sections of the hospital including the OPD, Casualty Block, other sections and wards and took stock of the healthcare facilities being provided to the patients.The DC also interacted with the patients and attendants and enquired about the level of services provided to them.The DC instructed the Medical Superintendent Kargil to ensure that the roster is strictly followed and patients are served with utmost sincerity and care. He also stressed on the maintaining proper cleanliness of the wards besides maintaining proper sanitation of the hospital.Meanwhile, the concerned officers were also instructed to ensure hassle free operation of central heating system for the convenience of patients during the winter season.The DC exhorted upon the doctors and paramedical staff to put in dedicated efforts to extend best possible healthcare facilities to patients in the hospital.
