Doda: DDC reviews progress under CAPEX budget 2018-19

Stresses on mobilizing all available resources for optimum outcome

District Development Commissioner, Anshul Garg today chaired a meeting and reviewed the progress under CAPEX budget of various departments and exhorted on mobilizing all available sources for optimum outcome of development projects.The DDC directed the concerned executing agencies to speed up the construction work on various vital projects to ensure their timely completion. He also asked for reconciliations among intending departments and executing agencies for better results and timely completion of the works.The DDC took sector-wise review of the progress of projects undertaken by different departments/agencies under District CAPEX Budget 2018 – 19 and other centrally sponsored schemes.He reviewed the schemes under Rural Development Department, Irrigation and Flood Control, R&B, PMGSY, Health, PDD, Animal Husbandry, Education, Youth Services & Sports, Sheep, Animal Husbandry and allied wings.It was revealed that an allocation of Rs. 168.30 crore has been sanctioned for the district under CAPEX Budget 2018-19. 

Out of an availability of Rs. 92.52 crore, 78.03% expenditure has been achieved till the end of November 2018.With regard to the progress achieved in various sectors, the meeting was informed that under agriculture and allied sectors, an achievement of 42.28 per cent has been made up to November this yearSimilarly, in I&FC, against an availability of Rs. 0.54 crore, 13.6 per cent expenditure has been made till November 2018. Under Youth Services and Sports sector, an expenditure of Rs 0.055 crore has been made, out of the availability of Rs. 0.11 crore, for the year 2018-19.The DC had a detailed review of progress on mega projects like Mini Secretariat at District Headquarter, Outdoor stadium at Doda, Community hall at kilogram, Degree College at Kilothran, Polytechnic College Doda, Sub District Hospital Gandoh and asked the executing agencies to complete the work in the given time limit.Likewise, the progress under RDD, Power, R&B, Industry & Minerals, Transport, Urban Development, Sheep and Animal Husbandry was also reviewed in detail.
