Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur released Medical Journal ‘Sub-Himalayan Journal of Health Research’ brought out by Dr. Rajendra Prasad Medical College Kangra at Tanda (Dr. RPMC Tanda) at Vidhan Sabha Complex Dharamshala today.The Chief Minister said that this official publication of the Dr. Rajendra Prasad Medical College Tanda would go a long way in benefitting the doctors and other medical practitioners of the region as it carry most up-to-date information on the research issues related to the diagnosis and management of diseases afflicting humans, particularly in the Sub-Himalayan areas.Jai Ram Thakur said that breaking down silos can help our medical institutions for delivering the coordinated care that is vital to meet quality and cost demand of health care. He said that such Medical Journals brought out by reputed institutions such as Dr. RPMC Tanda would definitely prove fruitful in supplementing the endeavour of the State Government to provide quality health services to the people of the State as well as country.The Chief Minister also congratulated and lauded the advisory and editorial board for their endeavour to bring such a useful publication.This Journal has been edited by Dr. Sunil Raina.Principal Dr. Rajendra Prasad Medical College Kangra at Tanda Dr. Bhanu Awasthi, Additional Director Dr. RPMC Tanda Mrs Sunayna Sharma, Chief Editor of the Journal Dr. Sunil Raina, Assistant Editor Dr. Raman Chauhan and Dr. Rupali Fulzele were present on the occasion.
