Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa Jail Minister Punjab has disclosed in a press Conference that the Khanna Police has started a special campaign against the bad elements & misdemeanors, during this campaign Khanna Police has achieved a great success today i.e 02.11.18, under the leadership of Sh. Dhruv Dahiya IPS, SSP/Khanna & the supervision of Sh. Jagwinder Singh, PPS. DSP/I/Khanna, Sh. Sukhnaaz Singh DSP (Prob). SHO/Machiwarra Sahib, Insp. Baljinder Singh Incharge CIA/Khanna, Insp. Avtar Singh, ASI Raobarinder Singh alongwith police party of CIA/Khanna, were present near Sua Puli village Baghaor regarding the investigation of Case FIR No. 246 dt. 02.11.18 U/s 379/379-B/411/171/419/420/473/467/468/471 IPC PS/Sadar/Khanna.One motorcycle was coming from village Ratanpalon side, he tried to flee away after seeing the Nakabandi. Police Party overpowered him, he was identified as Jasvir Singh S/o Nachattar Singh R/o Ratanpalo PS Amloh Distt. Fathegarh Sahib & had installed a fake number plate (PB-26-G-2580) on the motorcycle. During questioning, it has come to notice that Jasvir Singh & his brother Harwinder were engaged in the number of criminal activities including Thefts/Snatching/Robberies & also sabotaged the ATMs for a long time during the nights. In order to commit these crimes, they were often used to disguise themselves as a policemen & sometimes even as army men. Jasvir Singh & his brother (accomplice) Harwinder Singh breached the Andhra Bank Rasulra in the intervening night of 22-23/02/18, stole the jewellery from the bank lockers and .12 bore rifle. In the c/w a Case FIR no. 44 dt 23.02.18 U/s 457/380 IPC PS/Sadar/Khanna registered against them. After few days, Khanna police nabbed the both, recovered the jewellery and .12 bore rifle & also sent them into the Central Jail Ludhiana on Judicial Remand.
Ludhiana Jail Break :-
During questioning, Jasvir Singh told that he was locked in prison Central Jail Ludhiana alongwith his brother Harwinder Singh, regarding the Case FIR No. 44 dt 23.02.18 U/s 457/380 IPC PS/Sadar/Khanna. On dated 13.05.18, they succeeded to run away from the Central Jail Ludhiana by jumping the walls & FIR no. 145 dt 14.05.18 U/s 224/225B IPC PS/Division No. 7 Ludhiana has been lodged against them (in c/w Jail Break).

After the Jail Break, Accused Jasvir Singh alongwith his accomplice Harwinder Singh robbed various Temples of Kurukshetra (Haryana) & the Registered FIRs in Haryana as given below:

In the case FIR No. 211/18 U/s 379B IPC PS/Sadar/Khanna, Khanna police brought the Harwinder Singh on the Production Warrant from Kurukshetra Jail Haryana for the questioning. Both Jasvir Singh & Harwinder Singh admitted that they were planning to breach the banks and sabotage the ATMs of Haryana State. The culprits are still being questioned & there is a possibility of major disclosures.
