Governor presides over annual function of Gurukul

Governor Acharya Devvrat stressed that future generation should be imparted the knowledge of Indian culture and tradition as no nation can progress ahead by disregarding its roots. He was presiding over the annual function of Gurukul, Kurukshetra on Saturday.The Governor said that the State of Uttar Pradesh was heading towards the path of progress under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He was the nurture of Indian culture who has undertaken various welfare oriented works in his one-and half years of his government's regime in Uttar Pradesh. He said Yogi Adityanath has proved himself to be a skilled administrator and a beloved Chief Minister. He said that Yogi has been successful in giving clean governance and maintaining tranquillity in the state.Yogi Adityanath, who was the Chief Guest on the occasion, said that tradition of Gurukul education should be carried forward to the entire world as this system could play an important role in the upliftment of society by awakening the spirit of discipline and love among the students. 

He added that Gurukul education system would be established as the biggest power in the world, which would give a new direction and guidance to society.He said that Gurukul has enhanced the usefulness of Indian breed cow by doing remarkable work in breed improvement and promotion of Indian breed cow. Gurukul has created a buzz for giving life to the farmers by giving the concept of natural farming, which would prove to be milestone in the upliftment of the farmers of the country.Earlier, Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the newly constructed building of Gopal Krishna Goushala of the Gurukul and also released the annual souvenir published by the Gurukul.Yoga based activities were also performed by the students of the Gurukul on the occasion.Baba Balak Nath of Asthal Bohar Math, Baba Sher Nath Maharaj of Junagar Akhara, Subhash Sudha MLA, Thanesar,   Sahinder Ramaala, MLA from Chaproli, Brajesh Singh, MLA from Saharanpur, Master Ram Pal Arya, Pradhan, Arya Pratinidhi Sabha, Haryana,  Kulwant Saini, Pradhan, Gurukul Kurukshetra, Dr. Rajendra Vidyalankar, OSD to Governor, Col. Arun Dutta, Director and Principal, Gurukul and other prominent people were also present on the occasion.
