The Department of Cardiovascular Sciences, Amandeep Hospital Pathankot has been offering advanced interventional cardiology facilities to people of the region and adjoining states of Himachal Pradesh & Jammu and Kashmir relentlessly for last 8 years. Heart attack, heart failure treatments, angiographies, angioplasties, pacemaker implantations, valvotomies and other peripheral endovascular procedures have been performed with significant success. The Department of cardiothoracic surgery led by Dr Bhawna Singh, Dr Manish Arora and their team did their first beating heart bypass surgery (CABG) last week successfully, making cardiovascular care in the region nearly complete.Speaking to mediapersons on the occasion, Dr Amandeep Kaur, Director & CEO of Amandeep Group of Hospitals shared this information.  She further added, that with the advent of open-heart program at Pathankot, cardiovascular care in this region seems complete, with all modalities of treatment under one roof. 

She also conveyed that Amandeep hospital Pathankot, is one of the few hospitals in Punjab to have two functioning Cath labs, enabling it to cater to an increasing disease burden. Manipal Hospital, Jaipur, Himalayan University, Dehra Doon, Paras Hospital, Gurugram, Fortis Hospital Kota &Amritsar with a number of over 8,000 successful cardiac surgeries. Similarly, Dr Manish Arora, Cardiac Anaesthetist, is having 11 years of experience in reputed hospitals like Indo-Western Brain & Spine Hospital, Jaipur, Paras Hospital, Gurugram, Grecian Hospital, Mohali, Jindal Hospital, Hissar, SGL Charitable Hospital, Jalandhar, Manipal Hospital, Jaipur before joining Amandeep Group of Hospitals.
