DC inspects newly built District Rozgar Bureau building

Bureau will be dedicated to Mansa residents on Nov-21

Under the pet project of Punjab Government's-Ghar Ghar Rozgar Scheme, a District Rozgar Bureau has been setup in Mansa at a cost of Rs 50 lakh, which was inspected today by Deputy Commissioner Apneet Riyait. The bureau is equipped with all modern and basic facilities with which the unemployed youth of the district would be able to get jobs of their choice.Situated on the first floor of Sewa Kendra, this bureau would be dedicated to the public on November-21. While speaking during the occasion, Apneet Riyait said that special counseling too would be done in this building by which youngsters may also come to know about the overseas job opportunities.She said that the bio-data of unemployed youth would also be kept online here and everyday 40 students from schools across the district would be counseled about their future prospect of employment. These students would be counseled by the experts from District Industry Center, Skill Development, SC Corporation and guidance counselors from the education department. The students would also be made aware about the process of uploading their forms online to get jobs.

The Deputy Commissioner said that anyone between the age group of 16 to 50 years can come over at the Bureau to get their job application processed and get job.District Employment Officer Krishan Lal informed the deputy commissioner about the enquiry counter, registration center, waiting room, interview room, conference room, line department officer section, career counselor room and self employment center.Krishan Lal urged the unemployed youth to upload their application for the jobs at www.ghargharrozgar.punjab.gov.in.He said that the unemployed youth visiting the bureau can also avail the benefit of free Wif-fi and internet facilities on computer as well. The unemployed youth would also be helped by organizing two rozgar melas in the district every month. Apart from the help extended to get jobs, the bureau would also support the unemployed youth in honing their skills for different works so that they become skilled and can easily get job.
