Adding feather to the cap, a new feature moving Dinosaurs has been added up at Dino Park of Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala. Robotic Dinosaurs and their movements as well as man operated dinosaurs wearing attractive costumes strolling in the park takes the visitors to million years back in dino period that will surely add on the entertainment. Prior, moving dinosaurs could be seen in movies only. This was expressed by Mohammad Tayyab, Director General, Science City on the occasion of opening of Robotic Dinosaur gallery.The interaction with dinosaurs will make visitors amazed/ wondered that how latest technology has made this possible where humans and ferocious dinosaurs are contemporary. This showcase of the technology will enhance the Knowledge and bring out practical immersible experience of dinosaurs era. The structure of moving  Dinosaur  has been made with Robust steel and silica gel with durable motors.  

Visitor will have real fun when they will watch Dinosaurs at Science City Dino park with their Eyes blinking, opening and closing movement of mouth with emulating sound, movement of front claws, swaying of tail and breathing movement of stomach. Further he said, that life size model of Tyrannosaurus (T Rex)  Stegosaurus, Mamenchisaurus, Triceratops and  Baryonyx have been  setup in this gallery.Mr. Tayyab, DC cum DG, Science City besides, Robotic Gallery also inaugurated five scientific information exhibit kiosks based on Metallurgy, Gemology, Geology, Numismatic and Soil Science. He  said that these exhibits will make students and general public aware about various types of metals and alloys, physical properties of different gems, various types of rocks and minerals, different kinds of coins of pre and post-independence period as well as various types of soils prevailing in the country.The robotic Dinosaur Gallery has been setup at Science City on PPP mode with an investment of Rs.1.5 crore.
