DC Kargil holds public durbar at Drass

Deputy Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer, LAHDC, Kargil, Vikas Kundal today listened to public grievances at Dak Bungalow, Drass here.Hundreds of people attended the public darbar where they raised their individual and collective problems including developmental issues before the DC.The Deputy Commissioner gave a patient hearing to their grievances and demands and assured them that their genuine demands will be addressed in a phased manner.In some cases, the DC directed the concerned Heads of the departments on-the-spot to redress the grievances on priority.On the occasion, the DC said that the Governor’s administration is committed to providing better and adequate drinking water, power, health education and other facilities of modern-day life to the people of the State.He also stressed upon giving attention to people especially living in the far-flung areas of the district.   Later, the DC inspected Biras Hydel Power Project and enquired about the functioning of the project.
