DC Kargil chairs DLC meet on PMAY-G

Deputy Commissioner Kargil Vikas Kundal today chaired a District Level Committee (DLC) meeting on Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojana (PMAY - G) to discuss formulation of block wise Annual Action Plan (AAP) for the district.The meeting discussed that the district–wise plan will highlight mason training programme, sources for construction material, facilitation of loan to the beneficiary, development and dissemination plan for house typologies, beneficiary sensitization workshops and all the amenities that will flow to the beneficiary through convergence with different schemes.The importance of monitoring the programme for completion of houses in the district as per targets fixed for the district was also discussed. It was further decided that a detailed AAP for each block will be formulated at block level and each member will ensure that the role and terms of reference of DLC are fulfilled in letter and spirit.The meeting decided that the DLC shall meet every quarter in a year. AD Food, DPO, Xen. PHE and other head of the departments were also present in the meeting.
