DDC Kishtwar listens to the grievances of Warwan people

District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana today  visited at Inshan Warwan along with SSP Kishtwar Rajinder Kumar in order to take stock of problems of the people. Other District and Sectoral officers also accompanied him during the visit. Besides prominent citizens a large number of people of the area attended the public grievances meeting.The main demand put forth by the public was the shortage of doctors wherein people with one voice requested for posting of Gynaecologist on priority basis. The people stated that pregnant woman of their area have to face a lot of trouble in absence of lady doctor.Further, people of the area urged for the fulfillment of basic infrastructure facilities like roads, drinking water supply, shortage of teaching faculty etc.DDC patiently heard the grievances and on spot directions were passed to concerned officers for appropriate necessary action at an earliest. He assured that the blacktopping of road from Margan top to Inshan will be completed in shortest possible time for which permission regarding the installation of temporary crusher stands granted in favour of the contractor. He also assured that the Margai Sukhnai road will be completed within two months.

Regarding water problems, DDC assured that 100% water supply will be made available to the people of the area and further directed XEN PHE to submit an estimate at an earliest. He informed that funds shall be got released regarding the completion of languishing Sukhnai water supply project. DDC stated that by the end of October, 2018 the pending 90% SHLs( Solar Home Lights) shall be got installed in the area.While emphasizing upon the importance of Panchayati Raj system, DDC enjoined upon the people to come forward to participate in ensuing Panchayat elections in large numbers so as to strengthen the grass root level institutions for the benefit of rural poor.DDC further cautioned people not to store dry grass / fodder within the residential areas for which an order under section 144 CrPc stand already issued. All the officers were directed to display the works of CAPEX Budget at conspicuous places at Panchayat level for the general information of the public. He further directed BDO Warwan to clear all the pending liabilities under MGNREGA at an earliest.
