Atal Bihari Vajpayee is an inspiration for young poets: Virender Kanwar

Himachal Pradesh Art Culture Language Academy Shimla, Sahitya Parishad, Govt. College Chaura Maidan Shimla and Sahitya Parishad, Govt. College Sanjauli Shimla organized a symposium cum poem competition in the memory of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee today. Rural Development Minister Virender Kanwar was the Chief Guest and Director, Research Institute Neri, Hamirpur Chet Ram Garg was special guest of the function.Rural Development Minister said that in front of the difficulties in his life way from one student to the prime minister, Atal Ji dedicated his entire life only to the service of the country. He laid the foundation for reaching the last person standing in the line of the poor, on which the State government was committed to working with generosity. Atal Ji was the source of inspiration for the young poets of today and youth should incorporate the thoughts of Atal Ji's thoughts and patriotism in his writings.During the function, participants from different colleges and Himachal Pradesh University recited the poems based on the life of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. 

On this occasion, among other Neetu Verma, Aarti Gupta, Meenakshi Sood and Dr. Inder Thakur read the poems of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. In the competition, K. R. Bharati, Prof. D.D. Sharma and Bharti Kuthiyala played the role of judges.Principal Govt. College Chaura Maidan Shimla Dr. Inderjeet Singh presided over the function. Earlier, he welcomed the Chief guest Virendra Kanwar and other guests.Virender Kanwar presented the award to the participants and the winners. He said that the youth was the future of the country and the language academy and Govt. College Chaura Maidan Shimla had providing such a suitable platform to poets / poets. He remembered Atal Bihari Vajpayee and said that he had unique personality and was famous for his thoughts throughout the world.In the competition, the first and second prize was awarded to the Aanchal Bhandari and Rahul Lover of Govt. College Sanjauli respectively. Sahisha Verma of St. Bedes College has been given the third prize. The keynote speaker of this program, Kesmat Kumar, also highlighted the life of Atal ji.Organizer of the program, Dr. Om Prakash Sharma, Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Academy Dr. Karma Singh, Principals and Students of various colleges were also present on this occasion.
