194th meeting of the HPMC Director's Board held

The 194th meeting of the HPMC Board of Director's was held today under the chairmanship Irrigation and Public Health Minister and President of Himachal Pradesh Horticulture Production Marketing and Processing Corporation Limited Mahendra Singh Thakur.Mahender Singh instructed the officials that necessary steps should be taken to run Parwanu fruit processing unit in order to fully exploit its production capacity. He also instructed HPMC to evaluate the vacant land in Kolkata and explore the possibilities of proper use so that the corporation's business can be increased.It was also decided to constitute a committee under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary Horticulture to explore the possibilities of use of the land in Kolkata. In the meeting, it was directed to made Cold houses of Corporation available on rent in the month of March-April to the horticulturists and other interested parties for which directions were issued to invite tenders.The Horticulture Minister also instructed the Corporation to make proper arrangements for Mango purchase under the Marketing Intervention Scheme next year and said that the collection center should be opened in the month of June. He also instructed to make more efforts to increase the Corporation's income.The proceedings of the meeting were conducted by Managing Director of HPMC Madan Chauhan.
