State level Red Cross Fair to be organised on 3 November in Shimla

The State level Red Cross fair will be organised at Ridge, Shimla on 3 November, 2018. Governor Acharya Devvrat will inaugurate this fair while Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur will preside over the closing ceremony.Chairperson of the HP Red State Red Cross Welfare Section Dr. Sadhna Thakur revealed this while presiding over a meeting of the Section organised here today.She said that 28 stalls would be established during this fair and the stalls would be allotted on come first, get first basis. The Hospital Welfare Section would also distribute sweats in the hospitals, child and old age homes before the Diwali festival.Dr. Sadhna Thakur said that the main motive of organising Red Cross fair was to help the suffering humanity in the hour of distress. She appealed to all the sections of the society to come forward in donating to the Red Cross as this was the best service to the humanity.Secretary to the Governor Dr. Arun Sharma and members of the Hospital Welfare Section were present in the meeting.
