DC Baramulla inaugurates ‘Swacheta Hi Seva’ campaign

Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr Nasir Ahmad Naqash today inaugurated the fortnight sanitation  ‘Swacheta Hi Sewa’ campaign. The campaign which commenced today throughout the country has been launched with the special aim of sanitation during which special cleanliness drives at public offices, schools, colleges and other places of public importance shall be organized. Holding of awareness camps and other related programmes are also part of the campaign. Additional Commissioner Development, District Panchayat officer, BDOs, District and sectoral officers and other concerned were present on the occasion. On the occasion, the DC underlined the objectives and importance of the campaign and said that special cleanliness drives shall be launched at vital places of public importance. He said that such a mission conveys a pious message which should be followed in letter and spirit.  While terming the public cooperation necessary in achieving the goal of the hygienic environment, the DC stressed for awareness dissemination about the ill hazards of garbage.
