DDC Budgam tours various areas to inspect works done under SBM

District Development Commissioner Budgam, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar today inspected works of Rural Development constructed under the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM).The DDC was informed under the Mission all the blocks of the district are ODF in the baseline surveys.The DDC was satisfied with the works executed by the department. The DDC gave directions to the concerned officers to make concerted efforts to cover all left out households under SBM.The DDC also interacted with the household heads and enquired about the effectiveness and benefits of the mission.During the inspection, various local deputations met the DDC and raised their demands particularly issues regarding RDD and PDD, the DDC gave them a patient hearing and directed concerned district heads to ensure redressal to their genuine grievances promptly.
