Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur met Prakash Javadekar, Union HRD Minister at New Delhi on Thursday evening.Chief Minister apprised him about the progress of Central University being setup in Himachal Pradesh and also informed about the status of land transfer for the University. He urged him to perform foundation laying stone ceremonies of both campuses at Dehra and Dharamshala at the earliest.Jai Ram Thakur also requested for sanctioning more Kendriya Vidyalayas for the state.Shri Javadekar assured of all possible assistance to state and added that the foundation stone ceremony of the university would be performed very soon.He asked the Chief Minister to send the proposal for sanctioning Kendriya Vidyalayas after completing all formalities so that they could be sanctioned soon.Additional Chief Secretary cum Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Dr. Shrikant Baldi was also present in the meeting.
