Fourth Jan Manch organised successfully across the State

The Jan Manch, fourth in the series was organised successfully all over the State on Sunday. The Speaker, HP Vidhan Sabha and all the Cabinet Ministers presided over the programme organised in all districts of the State. The people in large number participated in Jan Manch for redressal of their grievances and other issues.Around 3600 cases were received during the fourth Jan Manch in the state and most of them were disposed off on the spot and rests have been sent to the concerned departments for speedy disposal. Besides, Allopathic and Ayurvedic medical camps and blood donation camps were also organised in which a large number of people turned out for medical check-up. Free LPG connections were provided to women under Grihani Suvidha Yojna. Various types of certificates were also issued besides registering the youth clubs and providing HP domicile certificate during this programme.Speaker, HP Vidhan Sabha Dr. Rajiv Bindal presided over the Jan Manch at Skiba in Pooh Sub-Division of Kinnaur district. Around 650 people of ten panchayats of the area presented their cases and most of the issues were settled on the spot. Various departments issued certificates to the people on the spot and free 101 LPG connections were given to women.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Bindal said that the state government has started the Jan Manch programme to reach out directly to the masses. The immediate redressal of their grievances and other developmental issues were being accorded top priority. He directed the officers to give added attention for speedy disposal of the complaints and other issues raised by people during Jan Manch.As many as 432 cases were received during the Jan Manch out of which 211 were settled on the spot. The Revenue department prepared certificates and pension cases were also cleared on this occasion. The Health and Ayurveda departments organised health camps to facilitate the people for primary health check up.MP Ram Swaroop Sharma was also present during the programme.IPH Minister Mahender Singh Thakur presided over the Jan Manch at Nand in Nalagarh Assembly constituency of Solan district. He said that organising Jan Manch in hilly state like Himachal Pradesh has economical and social impact. The Chief Minister has taken this initiative to facilitate common citizens, who otherwise had to travel long distances to state capital or district headquarters for getting their works done.He said Jan Manch was not a political forum and the government is ensuring redressal of people grievances and problems without any discrimination.The Minister said under the able leadership of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, the state government has succeeded in getting various schemes amounting to Rs. 9552 crores for the state. These schemes would go a long way in opening new vistas of prosperity and providing employment and self-employment opportunities to the youth of the state.More than 4000 people participated in the Jan Manch where 636 cases were registered.MLA Lakhwinder Rana and former MLA Govind Ram Sharma were also present on this occasion.

Food and Civil Supplies Minister Kishan Kapoor presided over the Jan Manch at Haripur in Dehra Constituency of Kangra district and urged the people to make maximum benefit of this progamme which has started by the state government to facilitate the common people. He said the government has launched various schemes and programmes for welfare of the poor and underprivileged sections of the society so that they could be brought to the streamline.He urged the youth of the state to take maximum benefit of Mukhyamantri Swawlamban Yojana which had been launched to provide them self-employment opportunities.More than 2000 people from 11 Panchayats of the area participated in the Jan Manch. As many as 461 cases concerned to various departments were registered during the Jan Manch. The Minister distributed free LPG connections to 127 beneficiaries. He also presented FD's to the beneficiaries under Beti Hai Anmol Yojana.MLA Hoshiyar Singh and former Minister Ravinder Singh Ravi were also present on this occasion.Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj, who presided the Jan Manch at Mazra in Nahan constituency of Sirmaur district said that effective steps were being taken to fill up vacant posts of teachers in educational institutions on batch wise basis. Besides, the posts of teachers were also being filled up by direct recruitment through HP Subordinate Services Selection Commission, Hamirpur.  He said that posts of teachers in the tribal and remote areas would be filled up through school management committees so that studies of the students did not suffer to vacancy of teachers.As many as 281 cases were registered at Mazra out of which some cases were settled on the spot and rest has been referred to the concerned departments for redressal in ten days.  LPG connections were distributed to 350 beneficiaries.The Education Minister distributed FDs of Rs. 10,000 each to the parents of newly born baby girls.MLA Sukhram Chaudhary and former MLA Baldev Tomar were also present on this occasion.

Power Minister Anil Sharma said that Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has given added priority for resolving the problems of people residing in the rural areas and with this motive he visualized Jan Manch. He was presiding over the Jan Manch in Kohlari Panchayat in Chamba district.He said that government was making all out efforts to provide maximum employment opportunities to the youth for which various schemes have been launched. The efforts were on to harness the hydro power potential of the state and this sector also has vast possibilities of providing employment.  He said government lowered the age for getting old age pension benefiting more than one lakhs of pensioners. The government was also filling up the vacant posts of doctors and teachers in a phased manner.Total 461 cases were presented by the people during the Jan Manch and most of them were cleared on the spot. Food and Civil Supplies department distributed LPG connections to 54 beneficiaries.MLA Pawan Nayyar was also present on this occasion.Urban development Minister Sarveen Chaudhary while presiding over the Jan Manch at Sishu in Lahaul-Spiti district said that 1800 houses have been constructed in the state under Rural-Urban House Scheme and financial assistance was being provided to poor families for repair of their houses. She said a target had been fixed by the government to construct 7385 houses for the rural poor people out of which 4522 houses had already been constructed.In all, 54 cases were received during the programme. Medical camps were organised and people were also provided Himachali bonafide, SC/ST, minority certificates besides preparation of Aadhar cards and issuing licences.

Agriculture Minister Dr. Ram Lal Markanda while presiding over the function at Amb in Chintpurani Assembly segment of Una district said that a project worth Rs. 1100 crore with the help of JICA would be started soon in the state for encouraging off-season vegetable in a big way. This project would help in achieving the target of doubling the income of famers by 2022. He said a provision of Rs. 240 has been made by the government for promoting sloar lift irrigation scheme.He said that a modern market yard was being developed at Takarla near Amb at a cost of Rs. 5.5 crores which would provide better marketing facility to the farmers nearer to their homes and they would also get better rates for their produce.LPG connections were distributed to 120 beneficiaries and medical health checkup camps were also organised.Around 400 cases were received during the programme and 134 were disposed off on the spot.MLA Balbir Chaudhary also spoke on the occasion.Former Minister Praveen Sharma was also present in the Jan Manch.In Bilaspur district Jan Manch was organised at Kuthera which was presided over by Health Minister Vipin Singh Parmar. He said that Jan Manch has proved to be an effective tool to resolve the problems of people nearer to their homes and government has made it mandatory that officers of all the departments participate in it so that maximum people could be benefited.He said this was an important programme of the state government and Chief Minister himself was monitoring it, which shows the commitment of the government towards the people of the state.

As many as 389 cases were registered today and pre Jan Manch and most of these have been settled. 150 women beneficiaries were given free LPG connections, 918 credit cards and 98 digital ration cards were also issued on this occasion. Various other certificates were also issued to the beneficiaries including mutations, Aadhar, horticulture and unemployment certificates etc. Around 1000 people were examined in the medical camps and free medicines were also distributed. MLAs Subhash Thakur and Rajender Garg were also present on the occasion.Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Virender Kanwar while presiding over the Jan Manch at Manali in Kullu district said that as per the vision of the Union government, the State governments were working with a motive to provide house facility to every citizen of the country by 2022. He said 70,000 women have been identified in the State who would be given LPG connections by year 2019.Around 85 cases were received in the Jan Manch from ten panchayats out of which 67 were settled on the spot.Gas connections were given to 128 women of the area on this occasion. The Chief Minister health insurance cards, 93 different certificates were also distributed. The people also come forward for medical checkup in Allopathic and Ayurveda camps.MLA Surender  Shaurie was also present on the occasion.Industries Minister Bikram Singh presided over the Jan Manch Thatukhod in Drang Assembly constituency of Mandi district. Speaking on the occasion, he said Jan Manch has given a new dimension to the governance and it has also helped in bringing constructive change in the functioning of various government departments.He said 181 cases were received today out of which 144 were disposed off on the spot.The Minister distributed free LPG connections to the female beneficiaries.MLA Jawahar Thakur also spoke on the occasion.

In Shimla district, Jan Manch was organised at Sandasu in Rohru sub-division which was presided over by Forest and Transport Minister Govind Singh Thakur. As many as 116 applications were received during the programme out of which 68 cases were disposed off on the spot.Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the state government was working with determination and commitment to fulfill the aspirations of the people.  The purpose of holding Jan Manch every month was to redress the problems and other issues of the people in a stipulated time period. He assured that a meeting would be convened with the officers of Electricity Board to solve the power supply problem of the Sandasu and nearby Gram Panchayats. He also gave LPG connections to 15 beneficiaries of the area and 103 more gas connections were approved on the occasion.MLA Mohan Lal Brakta was also present in this occasion.Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dr. Rajiv Saizal while presiding over Jan Manch at Nalti in Hamirpur district said that state government has committed itself for welfare of every section of the society and speedy and overall development of the state. He said that government has made adequate budgetary provision for new drinking water supply schemes and augmentation of old schemes. Similarly, the work on maintenance of roads would be taken up soon after monsoon season in the state.98 cases were received today out of which 36 were disposed off on the spot and Minister directed to settle rest cases within ten days. The doctors examined 394 people in the health camps and various certificates and cards were also issued on the occasion.MP Anurag Thakur and MLA Narinder Thakur were also present in the Jan Manch.
